Marina Orth Foundation’s El Progreso School’s coed Robotics Team scored 516 points out of 600 and took 26th place among the 600 teams that competed throughout the Department of Antioquia in a rigorous eight months long competition to build robots . As one of the top 50 teams, they also participated in a four day Antioquia Digital Camp that brought together 800 students from all over the state.
At camp, competitions spanned from home automation to software design and video game development. “Robot Arts” is one of our after school clubs that is giving these rural students, including girls who code, a headstart to compete with the best of the best of their peers throughout Colombia and Latin America. Congratulations Team Robotica!
