Marlon; “I want to put a smile on every Colombian kid’s face.”

MARLON-1024x683One of our foundation students, Marlon Vargas, who was brought to Chicago for summer school in 2012, PCV Howard Ellegant and his wife, Carol, has been awarded a presitigious scholoarship to study law at Pontifica Boliviariana University in Medellin. His studies are also being supported by the Ellegants and the Marina Orth Foundation. Marlon has big plans to run for office some day with the slogan, “I want to put a smile on every Colombian kid’s face.” The son of a single mother, Marlon attends the foundation’s Golondrinas school and scored #24 out of 1000 in his group who took the Colombian version of the SAT.
